Golf Tip of the Month - March 2010!

Developing a single plane swing is the easiest and fastest way to consistentcy. Keeping the arms quiet and on the side. Simply create the triangle with your arms and shoulders, and the proper spine angle at address. Then turn your left shoulder to the right at a 90 degree angle around your spine angle. Keep your left arm in line with your shoulder plane. Then reverse the turn by sliding your left hip to the left then turning your left hip to the left letting your left arm say glued to your side. Your right shoulder will follow your hip and come under your chin at the same point your left shoulder was on the backswing. Your right shoulder will continue to turn and bring your head up.

Summary:
It will take some time to get the sequence of the turns. But if your timing is off you can still be consistent. By keeping everything together the club will stay online and square so your off center hits will go towards the target.
