Golf Tip of the Month - May 2010!

Tiger calls this his stinger shot. This is a great shot to hit into the wind, or keeping the ball low under a tree, or if you simply want to run the ball up to the green. This is a great shot getting out of the desert. The idea is to keep the hands ahead of the clubhead and the clubface square. This will deloft the club so the ball will stay low and boar into the wind. The key is to keep your left wrist firm and flat along with keeping your left arm straight. No breaks. You should play the ball a little back in the stance, shorten the backswing, then simply bump and turn your left hip. Keep yours arms on your side. Everything works together.

Summary:
Learn this shot. It will help in many areas. There are so many different situations in golf and having this shot in your bag can get you out of trouble quick.
